In E1C, students learn to become independent, respectful and lifelong learners, through our prepared environment and grace and courtesy lessons.
Each day, students receive Montessori lessons and work on assignments during our 3-hour Montessori work period. During the rest of the day, students participate in reading & writing lessons. We place a monthly focus on a particular Virtue reinforced through stories and lessons. Students also attend specialist classes (Art, Music, Library, PE, Counselor).
Hello! I have taught at Bluffview since 2015. I fell in love with the Montessori philosophy instantly and spent three years as an E1 assistant prior to coming to Bluffview. I recently achieved my Montessori certification and Master’s degree through UW-River Falls. I absolutely love the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and inspiring my students to learn all they can about themselves and their world.
I have worked with children of all abilities for the last 15+ years. I worked in public schools for 5 years before coming to Bluffview Montessori School. It is extremely rewarding helping children learn in a Montessori setting.
