Explorers of the Week
Two of the many Bluffview Montessori Students demonstrating virtuous behavior this week:
Zander Clifton is a preschool student of Mr. Josh’s CH1 classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of respect when he used his listening ears all day. Zander’s favorite work in the classroom is reading, and he loves Bluffview because he can see his friends. Zander’s favorite activity outside of school is to relax, and he wants to be an engineer when he grows up. Zander is the son of Cody & Lauren Clifton.
William Lohmeyer is a 5th grade student of Ms. Amy’s E2C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtues of helpfulness and friendliness when he happily helped classmates on a regular basis while still getting his work completed. William’s favorite subject in the classroom is math and he loves Bluffview because of the amount of freedom he has and how organized Bluffview is. William’s favorite activities outside of school are carpentry and playing with legos, and he wants to be a carpenter or blacksmith when he grows up. William is the son of Aaron & Sherry Lohmeyer.

Reminder – 10 Days of Giving
Our organization is proud to be participating in the Annual 10 Days of Giving food drive this year, coordinated by Merchants Bank. The 10 Days of Giving benefits Winona Volunteer Services and works to make sure no one in Winona County goes hungry each winter.
There are many opportunities to support the food drive between December 1-10. We hope you’ll consider contributing, as you are able, by:
- Dropping off food donations in the barrels located inside the entry way at Bluffview. Bags are going home in green folders today.
- Making a donation directly to Winona Volunteer Services online at https://www.winonavs.org/.
On behalf of Bluffview Montessori School and the 10 Days of Giving committee, thank you for your generosity during the holiday season.
