The Building and Grounds Committee guides the development of policy and practice with respect to the daily operations of the school.

Human Resources

The Human Resources Committee guides the development of policy and practice with respect to the staffing of the school including the development of salary scales and benefits packages.


The Pedagogy Committee informs and advises the board regarding curriculum-related issues, which may include but not limited to the content and structure of learning experiences offered at the school.


The Governance Committee is responsible for maintaining effective Board Policies, for promoting an active board recruitment process for the school, for the orientation and mentoring process of new Board members, for working with the Board chair and Head of School to promote ongoing leadership and governance education and growth of all Board members, for periodic assessment processes for individual Board members and the Board as a whole, and for the annual election of Directors and filling of Board vacancies.


The Finance Committee provides financial analysis, advice, and oversight of the organizations budget. Their sole responsibility is to ensure the organization is operating with the financial resources it needs to provide programs and services to the community.
