    Explorers of the Week

    Neil Henry - Bluffview Montessori School

    Two of the many Bluffview Montessori Students demonstrating virtuous behavior this week:

    Henry Neil is a 6th grade student in Ms. Torri’s E2C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of diligence when he worked hard to get all his work turned in and was super focused.  Henry’s favorite subject in the classroom is math, and he loves lunch and recess, and that he has a lot of friends in his class at Bluffview. Henry’s favorite activities outside of school are playing video games and playing with his friends. Henry is the son of Amanda Hedlund & Matthew Neil.

    Morris Omdal is a 5th grade student in Mrs. Kaul’s E2A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of helpfulness as he is always willing to stack chairs at the end of the day without being asked.  Morris’s favorite subject is science, and he loves that he gets to do “hands-on” works at Bluffview. Morris’s favorite activity outside of school is reading. Morris is the son of Christy & Paul Omdal.

    Ward Izzy - Bluffview Montessori School

    Two of the many Bluffview Montessori Students demonstrating virtuous behavior this week:

    Izabella (Izzy) Ward is a 5th grade student in the E2C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of responsibility when she cleaned up a STEM Project when everyone else moved on to other activities.  Izzy’s favorite subject in the classroom is math, and she loves Bluffview because it is a safe community. Izzy’s favorite activities outside of school are playing at the park and karate. Izzy is the daughter of Jessica & Joel Ward.

    Corinna Wagner is a 6th grade student in Ms. Zahrte’s E2B  classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of responsibility when she helped a student follow school rules of respecting the community.  Corrina’s favorite subject is math, and she loves that everyone is welcoming and nice at Bluffview. Corinna’s favorite activities outside of school are playing football and hockey, and she wants to be an elementary school teacher when she grows up. Corinna is the daughter of Anne & Mark Wagner.

    Koutsky Sophia - Bluffview Montessori School

    Two of the many Bluffview Montessori Students demonstrating virtuous behavior this week:

    Sophia Koutsky is a 3rd grade student in Ms. Amy’s  E1A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of responsibility when she followed expectations and was an awesome library student.  Sophia’s favorite subject in the classroom is math, and she loves that there are lots of people to make new friends with at Bluffview. Sophia’s favorite activity outside of school is hanging out with her family, and she wants to be a doctor when she grows up. Sophia is the daughter of Shelby Beeman & Dillon Poole and Mitch Koutsky.

    Aaron Rondeau  is an 8th grade student in the Erdkinder  classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtues of friendliness and compassion when he comforted a classmate at Eagle Bluff when they were struggling to sleep.  Aaron’s favorite subject is math, and he loves the lunches made by Ms. Cindy at Bluffview. Aaron’s favorite activity outside of school is watching anime and he wants to be a coder when he grows up. Aaron is the son of Allison Rondeau.

    Explorers of the Week

    Liam Brantner - Bluffview Montessori School

    Two of the many Bluffview Montessori Students demonstrating virtuous behavior this week:

    Liam Brantner is a preschool student in Ms. Anna’s  CH3 classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of self-discipline because he was choosing many works and was working nicely.  Liam’s favorite work in the classroom is “flossing teeth”, and he loves playing on the playground at Bluffview. Liam’s favorite activity outside of school is playing in his room. Liam is the son of Daisy Olvera and Stefan Brantner.

    Max Burda  is a 4th grade student in Mrs. Kaul’s E2A  classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtues of respect and responsibility when he cleaned up his work space in library without being asked.  Max’s favorite subject is math, and he loves lunch and recess at Bluffview. Max’s favorite activity outside of school is soccer and he wants to be a professional soccer player when he grows up. Max is the son of Craig & Kira Burda.

    Picture Day!

    Picture Day - Bluffview Montessori School

    Picture Day is Thursday, September 19, with make up day Monday, October 28!  Order forms went home in green folders on Wednesday.  Preschoolers that don’t attend on Thursdays can either come anytime between 8:30 and 1 on the 19th, or come to picture make up day on 10/28.

    Cup Stacking

    Dear parents,

    Starting on November 12th our school is participating in the annual WSSA World Record STACK UP! event! The World Record attempt is for the “Most People Sport Stacking at Multiple Locations”. The goal is to beat the current record of 746,698 people Sport Stacking! Your child will be counted in this RECORD BREAKING ATTEMPT!
