Welcome to Bluffview Montessori’s E1A page!
In our classroom, students learn to become independent, respectful, and lifelong learners through our prepared environment and grace & courtesy lessons.
Each day, students received Montessori lessons and work on assignments during our 3-hour Montessori work period. During the remainder of the day, students participate in reading & writing lessons, a monthly focus on a particular Virtue reinforced through stories and lessons, and specialist classes.
About Ms. Amy
Hello! My name is Amy Schillerstrom, and I am the E1A teacher. I graduated from Winona State University with my Bachelors in Elementary Education as well as Early Childhood. I am from Farmington, MN and have fallen in love with this area! Some things I love are camping, fishing, and traveling. I would love to go to Australia someday. What I love most about teaching is being able to make a difference in each student’s life beyond academics. Creating connections with my students is a high priority.
About Ms. Lorrie
I started working as a Montessori assistant in 1996 and worked for 10 years. I then took a 5 year leave and worked in a public school only to return to Bluffview Montessori School in 2011. When not at school I love spending time with my family and beautiful grand-children.
