- Posted On: October 6, 2022 - Fundraiser Orders due Monday, October 10- Turn in order forms and money by Monday, October 10th! - Pick up Tuesday, November 8th, 2:15 – 4 pm. - Thank you to all for your time and effort towards this fundraiser!
Bluffview, on average, retains approximately $3000 from this fundraiser.- For those that find themselves asking, “can I just skip selling stuff and make a donation“, yes you can! - Consider donating to the annual campaign here. Donations can also be made in person with cash or check. - There has been a $4000 matching grant! So if you donate $25, the school receives $25 from that grant. Why do we ask for money:- We are a public charter school, and as such received $4,333.57 less per student (ADM) than the resident school district-we are our own district, #4001.
- Montessori is expensive-we have additional staff and materials not found in a traditional school.
- As a publicly funded school, K-8 is free to anyone interested in school choice. A private Montessori school in Minnesota will cost a family upwards of $10,000 per student per year.
What will we do with the money raised:- New Science learning materials for all general education classrooms
- Additional security cameras
- Storage, building and grounds implements, other needs for the garage (to be built in the spring)
