Order a yearbook!
Order a 2021-22 yearbook now for $21. You can order online at https://forms.gle/jGmKTPEDf9zA7Zh3A, or by printing the Yearbook Order Form, filling it out, and sending it back to school. A paper order form went home yesterday with the youngest child. The deadline to order is May 3rd. Yearbooks will be handed out in June.

Explorers of the Week
Two of the many students demonstrating virtues this week:
William (Willy) Ruff is a 6th grade student of Ms. Jasnoch’s E2A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of commitment when he worked very hard and completed 3 follow ups in morning work time. Willy’s favorite subject in the classroom is math, and he loves Bluffview because of Ms. Cindy, as she is so much fun. Willy’s favorite activity outside of school is participating in jujitsu. Willy is the son of Max Ruff and Trisha Ruff.
Max Burda is a 1st grade student of Ms. Mariah’s E1C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of cooperation when he worked with a friend to complete a scavenger hunt. Max’s favorite work in the classroom is the pink work, and he loves Bluffview because he can do works, have snack, and get chocolate milk . Max’s favorite activity outside of school is riding his hoverboard. Max is the son of Craig and Kira Burda.

Ready Set School
The application period for assistance from Ready Set School is now open from April 15 through May 31. This program assists Winona County students in purchasing school supplies and clothing for the 2022-2023 school year. Families with children and teens entering kindergarten through grade 12 in Winona County in Fall 2022 that qualify for free and reduced lunches, housing/rent subsidy, and/or food support/TANF benefits are eligible to apply. Only one application per family is required.After completing the free application, vouchers are mailed to families in July. The vouchers are valid through September 15 at local participating retailers. Applications are online only at www.readysetschoolwinona.org/apply. Bluffview Summer Program
Summer program:- M-Th
- July 11th-July 29th
- 9-noon (this allows us to align our ESY and summer programming with WAPS ESY programming)
- This will be done just like last year, where we will fill rosters starting with need through our MTSS programming. Invitations will not be available until after our Spring screening is completed in early/mid May.
- Eligible students are CURRENTLY in grades K-7
- No charge to families that will be invited

Explorers of the Week
Two of the many students demonstrating virtues this week:
Josiah Springer is a 1st grade student of Ms. Kiersten’s E1B classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtues of caring, helpfulness, and cleanliness when he helped tidy up the classroom and library. Josiah’s favorite work in the classroom is parts of the plant, and he loves Bluffview because he has PE and library. Josiah’s favorite activity outside of school is playing with his toys, especially trains. Josiah is the son of Chuck & Crystal Springer.
Adelaide (Addy) Krase is an 8th grade student of the Erdkinder classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of commitment when she kept a positive attitude during challenging activities when on Immersion. Addy’s favorite subject in the classroom is Social World, and she loves Bluffview because of the community – she can walk down the hall and everyone smiles and says hi, plus it’s small enough to know almost everyone. Addy’s favorite activities outside of school are reading (she is currently reading Lord of the Rings), snuggling her dog Lola, and hanging out with her family. Addy is the daughter of Ethan & Jill Krase.
