Explorers of the Week
Two of the many students demonstrating virtues this week:
Emelia Holey is a 5th grade student of Ms. Amy’s E2C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of helpfulness when she volunteered to take art chairs down. Emelia’s favorite subject in the classroom is math, and she loves Bluffview because it is fun and teachers teach in a cool way. Emelia’s favorite activities outside of school are skiing and running with her dog. Emelia is the daughter of Erin & Garrick Holey.
Ava Kerkenbush is a 6th grade student of Ms. Amy’s E2C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of helpfulness when she volunteered to take art chairs down. Ava’s favorite subject in the classroom is math, and she loves Bluffview because there are no desks and the teachers provide a creative learning environment. Ava’s favorite activity when she is not in school is jumping on her trampoline. Ava is the daughter of Angie Kerkenbush and John Kerkenbush.

Ayla Leifeld is a Kindergarten student of Ms. Anna’s CH3 classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of courtesy when she gave her pin poke to a friend and helped a friend read labels for a work. Ayla’s favorite work in the classroom is pin poke, and she loves Bluffview because of her friends. Ayla’s favorite activity outside of school is playing Calico Critters with her mom. Ayla is the daughter of Molly & Nate Leifeld.
Ella Lofy is a Kindergarten student of Ms. Katie’s CH2 classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of helpfulness when she helped a student with their craft. Ella’s favorite work in the classroom is the change game, and she loves Bluffview because of having indoor recess when it is too cold to go outside. Ella’s favorite activity when she is not in school is playing outside. Ella is the daughter of Aaron & Emily Lofy.
