Our organization is proud to be participating in the 33rd Annual 10 Days of Giving food drive this year, coordinated by Merchants Bank. The 10 Days of Giving benefits Winona Volunteer Services and works to make sure no one in Winona County goes hungry each winter.

There are many opportunities to support the food drive between December 1-10. We hope you’ll consider contributing, as you are able, by: 

• Dropping off food donations in the barrels located inside the entry way at Bluffview.
• Making a donation directly to Winona Volunteer Services online at https://www.winonavs.org/.
• Attending one of the 10 Days of Giving special events; including a Fish Fry Dinner, Kick Off Lunch and Pack the Bus. Find more details here: https://www.merchantsbank.com/10daysofgiving.

There is no school or child care November 25th or 26th.

Carina Kugel is a Kindergarten student of Mr. Josh’s CH1 classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of service when she wiped off the entire playground after it rained.  Carina’s favorite work in the classroom is the movable alphabet, and she loves Bluffview because she gets to play outside at recess.  Carina’s favorite activity outside of school is playing with her brother.  Carina is the daughter of Jon & Danielle Kugel.

Callie Erlandson Reed is a 1st grade student of Ms. Mariah’s E1C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of responsibility when she demonstrated positive behavior, followed instructions, and showed sportsmanship throughout the entire PE class .  Callie’s favorite work in the classroom is telling time, and she loves Bluffview because all the teachers are really nice.  Callie’s favorite activities when she is not in school are going to the park, going to the store, and coloring.  Callie is the daughter of Cassie Jo Reed and Chad Erlandson.

If you participated in the Clubs Choice Fundraiser, you can pick up your items TODAY in the fire lane, 1-3:30.  We do not have room for storage, so please make arrangements to have your items picked up.  

Our classes are getting excited about their Happy Harvest donation projects this year, and we are asking for help as they prepare.

We’ll need all donations dropped off at the school by next Monday, 11/22. We’ll take a day to get organized and the students will prepare their projects in class on Wednesday, 11/24.
