Explorers of the Week
Two of the many students demonstrating virtues this week:
Henry Neil is a 2nd grade student of Ms. Molly’s E1B classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of responsibility when he was the only student following directions at the end of the day; he was in his spot, quiet and reading a book. Henry’s favorite work in the classroom is science experiments, and he loves Bluffview because of the lunches, especially pancakes. Henry’s favorite activity when he is not in school is bike riding with his mom. Henry is the son of Matthew Neil & Amanda Hedlund.
Jayden Hall is a kindergarten student of Ms. Katie’s CH2 classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of self-discipline when he completed his whole work plan for the week. Jayden’s favorite work in the classroom is sandpaper letters, and he loves Bluffview because of recess. Jayden’s favorite activity when he is not in school is playing games. Jayden is the son of Olivia & Jeremiah Hall.

Two of the many students demonstrating virtues this week:
Juliet Bublitz is a Kindergarten student of Ms. Katie’s CH2 classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtues of helpfulness and generosity when she willingly helped a classmate clean up her work spot at the end of the day. Juliet’s favorite work in the classroom is the golden chain, and she loves Bluffview because of the teachers that help her learn. Juliet’s favorite activity when she is not in school is having a sleepover at her Grandpa’s. Juliet is the daughter of Carly Johnson & John Bublitz.
Jackson Mullen is a 5th grade student of Ms. Amy’s E2C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtues of responsibility and helpfulness when he used his work time wisely and helped grade dailies during choice work. Jackson’s favorite subject in the classroom is math, and he loves Bluffview because of the freedom he has to choose what to do and the opportunity to help others. Jackson’s favorite activity when he is not in school is swimming. Jackson is the son of John and Tina Mullen.

Lillianna Rabuse is a 4th grade student of Ms. Amy’s E2C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of compassion when she offered compassion to another student when that student was down and tried to de-escalate an argument on the playground. Lillianna’s favorite work in the classroom is division bead chains, and she loves Bluffview because of the teachers. Lillianna’s favorite activities when she is not in school are walking her dog and reading books. Lillianna is the daughter of Paul Kohner & Lynne Rabuse.
Ava Kerkenbush is a 5th grade student of Ms. Amy’s E2C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of helpfulness when she offered to water the outside plants every day. Ava’s favorite work in the classroom is test tubes, and she loves Bluffview because they give compass slips for positive behaviors. Ava’s favorite activity when she is not in school is jumping on the trampoline. Ava is the daughter of Angie Kerkenbush and John Kerkenbush.
