Two of the many students demonstrating virtues this week: 

Tanis Richardson is a 4th grade student of Ms. Amy’s E2C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtues of diligence and excellence when he got right to work in the morning and completed his journal, dailies, and spelling before 8:45, and doing it mostly without help. Tanis’s favorite class is art, and he loves Bluffview because of how nice the teachers are.  Tanis’s favorite activity when he is not in school is playing video games.  Tanis is the son of Andy & Breyan Richardson.

Arianna Springer is a 2nd grade student of Ms. Mariah’s E1C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtues of creativity & respect when she made her ceramic pieces in art class.  Arianna’s favorite work in the classroom is the seasons work, and she loves Bluffview because she gets to see her friends and teachers.  Arianna’s favorite activities when she is not in school are playing with her dog and playing video games on the Nintendo Switch.  Arianna is the daughter of Chuck & Crystal Springer.

Eben Corcoran is a 2nd grade student of Ms. Amy’s E1A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of diligence when he worked carefully and persistently during work time. Eben’s favorite works in the classroom are chains and multiplication sheets, and he loves Bluffview because of how hard it is.  Eben’s favorite activity when he is not in school is jumping on the trampoline.  Eben is the son of Andy & Tanya Corcoran.

Sullivan Althoff is a 2nd grade student of Ms. Amy’s E1A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of diligence when he worked carefully and persistently during work time.  Sullivan’s favorite work in the classroom is creating your own map, and he loves Bluffview because of PE.  Sullivan’s favorite activities when he is not in school are swimming and hiking in the woods near his Grandma’s and Grandpa’s house.  Sullivan is the son of Amy & Andrew Althoff.

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week is next week, May 3-7!  Please let your student(s) teachers and other staff members know how much you appreciate them by having your student make a card, sending an email, simply saying thank you, or whatever you choose.  Thank you!

Zoe Hoyles is a 3rd grade student of Ms. Amy’s E1A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of self-discipline when she followed all PE classroom instructions and performed each activity perfectly to all instructions. Zoe’s favorite work in the classroom is number sentences, and she loves Bluffview because it’s smaller.  Zoe’s favorite activity when she is not in school is jumping on the trampoline.  Zoe is the daughter of Gary & Theresa Hoyles.

Jessica Cendejas is a 5th grade student of Ms. Musehl’s E2A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of helpfulness when she helped a student with their dailies.  Jessica’s favorite subject in the classroom is math, and she loves Bluffview because she gets to see her friends every day.  Jessica’s favorite activities when she is not in school are going outside and hanging out with her friends.  Jessica is the daughter of Maribel & Miguel Castillo.

TWEEN YOGA AT MUDDY WATERS 

Sign up for Tween yoga with Kitt (aka Ms Cher)! Kitt a former staff member at Bluffview Montessori is a certified kids yoga instructor and will be teaching two 3 week sessions of yoga especially designed for tweens ages 9 to 13. Tweens will practice yoga poses to build strength, flexibility and balance. Mindful breath work will be linked with movement to help with focus, stress reduction and increase self-regulation. These classes are fun and will leave your child feeling great! You can sign up for 3 sessions or all 6 sessions. 

The first 3 week session dates are:

Embyr Fabian is a 2nd grade student of Ms. Molly’s E1B classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of kindness when she helped a classmate during library time. Embyr’s favorite works in the classroom are subtraction works, and she loves Bluffview because she sees her brother everytime she walks by his locker.  Embyr’s favorite activity when she is not in school is playing in her backyard, even when it’s cold.  Embyr is the daughter of Ashley Afman & Adam Fabian.

Halia Poehler is a 4th grade student of Ms. Speltz’s E2B classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of helpfulness when she volunteered and took on extra clean-up duties in art class.  Halia’s favorite subject in the classroom is reading, and she loves Bluffview because she can build her own works and the teachers are nice.  Halia’s favorite activities when she is not in school are roller blading with her mom and wrestling with her brother.  Halia is the daughter of Daniel & Jocylyn Poehler.
