Explorers of the Week
Two of the many students demonstrating virtues this week:
Callen Kinneberg is a 1st grade student of Ms. Amy’s E1A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of helpfulness when he helped clean salsa after another student dropped their container during lunch. Callen’s favorite work in the classroom is the stamp game, and he loves Bluffview because he gets to see his friends. Callen’s favorite activities when he is not in school are watching tv and having playdates. Callen is the son of Craig & Katie Kinneberg.
Alaina Bell is an 8th grade student of the Erdkinder classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of helpfulness when she willingly helped bring out archery equipment for PE. Alaina’s favorite class is art, and she loves Bluffview because everyone at Bluffview feels like family. Alaina’s favorite activities outside of school are reading and drawing. Alaina is the daughter of Peter & Kimberly Bell.

Zooey Teichroew is a 2nd grade student of Ms. Amy’s E1A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtues of perseverance and confidence when she kept a positive attitude and kept trying during a difficult activity. Zooey’s favorite classes are Art and PE, and she loves Bluffview because she gets to learn new things. Zooey’s favorite activity when she is not in school is playing Minecraft. Zooey is the daughter of Jacob & Heather Teichroew.
Grayson Corcoran is a Kindergarten student of Ms. Anna’s CH3 classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtues of confidence and joyfulness when he was happy and ready to do his work and help his friends. Grayson’s favorite work in the classroom is chains, and he loves Bluffview because he gets to ride the bus. Grayson ‘s favorite activities outside of school are riding his bike and jumping on the trampoline. Grayson is the son of Andy & Tanya Corcoran.

Sophia Lippman is a 2nd grade student of Ms. Molly’s E1B classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of patience when she took turns getting materials for class. Sophia’s favorite work in the classroom is the one hundred board, and she loves Bluffview because she gets to see her friends. Sophia’s favorite activity when she is not in school is drawing pictures of people. Sophia is the daughter of Erich Lippman & Dawn Tevis.
Zoey Votruba is a Kindergarten student of Mr. Josh’s CH1 classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of helpfulness when she noticed a younger friend in need of help with her winter attire. Zoey’s favorite work in the classroom is finger knitting, and she loves Bluffview because of the works she gets to do. Zoey ‘s favorite activity outside of school is going on a hike. Zoey is the daughter of Preston & Jayme Votruba.

Fiona Dunbar is a 2nd grade student of Ms. Amy’s E1A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtues of excellence and humility when she stood respectfully, waited patiently, and demonstrated perfect behavior during PE. Fiona’s favorite subject in the classroom is math, and she loves Bluffview because of the various works she gets to do. Fiona’s favorite activity when she is not in school is swinging. Fiona is the daughter of Alan & Ann-Marie Dunbar.
Andrew Schantzen is a 1st grade student of Ms. Molly’s E1B classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of punctuality when he got all of his “have-to’s” done quickly. Andrew’s favorite work in the classroom is golden beads, and he loves Bluffview because of the good lunches. Andrew ‘s favorite activity outside of school is driving his 4-wheeler around. Andrew is the son of Henry & Chris Schantzen.

Reminder – No School for E2 Students on Feb. 22 & 23
Reminder – E2 students will be returning to full in-person classrooms on Wednesday, February 24th. E2 will not have school, on-site or distance learning, on Monday, February 22nd, and Tuesday, February 23rd, as the teachers prepare for this change. Children’s House, E1, and Erdkinder students will still have school.
Erdkinder students will continue in hybrid for the time being.
Essential Worker Care for E2 students already registered will continue on February 22nd & 23rd.
Meal pick-up will continue for those signed up that are not returning to full in-person learning.
