Board Elections Coming Soon
We have 4 willing candidates for the 4 Board of Directors positions that are up for election this year.- Ann Marie Dunbar for the parent seat
- Meghan Booth and Shelly Merchlewitz for the 2 teacher seats
- Daniel Kirk (Dean of the Education department at WSU) for the Community Member seat

No Emergency Worker Daycare or Meal Distribution on Friday

Our building WILL BE CLOSED on Friday, April 10, and we will NOT BE providing daycare or have meal pickup.

We will SEND TWO MEAL PACKS home on Thursday, April 9 to accommodate the closure.

Our building WILL BE OPEN on Monday, April 13 for both Daycare and Meal Distribution.

Child Care for Emergency Workers as Directed by the State of MN
All schools have been directed by the state to implement child care for all Emergency Workers. They have provided a list of such professions. Please make sure you read in detail the list of jobs that qualify. We will require some form of identification and proof of employment. This is for children 12 and under that are enrolled in the school.There are two ways to enroll. Explorers of the Week
Two of the many students demonstrating virtues this week:
Tristen Gady is a 3rd grade student of Ms. Mariah’s E1C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of excellence when he completed his work in a timely fashion. Tristen’s favorite subject in the classroom is math and he loves all the works he can do at Bluffview. Tristen’s favorite activity when he is not in school is playing outside. Tristen is the son of Thomas & Madeleine Gady.
William Lohmeyer is a 2nd grade student of Ms. Molly’s E1B classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtues of creativity and diligence when he put lots of time, effort, and creativity making a project with planets! William’s favorite work in the classroom is learning cursive, and he loves Bluffview because he gets 2 recesses. William’s favorite activities outside of school are working on different projects, including making a 3D solar system. William is the son of Aaron & Sherry Lohmeyer.

Read-a-thon
The Bluffview Montessori Read-a-thon/Sleep-a-thon will be held on Friday, March 20. Children’s House and E1 Read-a-thon will be from 2:15-4:30. E2 Read-a-thon/Sleep-a-thon will begin at 6:00 pm and will run through the night until 7:00 am on Saturday, March 21.
