The fall fundraiser delivery date is Thursday, October 31st in the fire lane from 2:15 to 4:00.
The end of the quarter is Friday, November 1st. There is no school on November 4th due to a teacher workshop day.

Fall Festival Fun and Thanks
It was a great afternoon at Brigg’s Outdoors on Saturday for our Fall Festival. Many thanks to our parent volunteers and donors: Johanna Brandvik, Ethan Krase, Audrey and Terry Bauer, Dawn Neefe, Erica Thibodeaux, Danielle Kugel, Tara Hunt, Chris Schantzen, and Breyan Richardson. Thank you also to our wonderful staff who helped: Eldridge McClatchey, Renee Knutsen, Andy Richardson, Henry Schantzen, Louise Stenberg, and Brianna Fink. Much appreciation goes to our hosts, Steve and Jenel Briggs.

Explorers of the Week
Zoe Hoyles is a second grade student of Ms. Brianna’s E1A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of diligence when she completed her morning work without a reminder. Zoe’s favorite class is math. She especially likes working with fractions and she loves recess at Bluffview. When Zoe is at home, she likes to jump on the trampoline. Zoe is the daughter of Theresa and Gary Hoyles.
Dorri McClatchey is a preschool student of Mr. Josh’s CH1 classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of helpfulness when she cleaned up pouring works left out from other students. Dorri’s favorite work in the classroom is beads and she loves Bluffview because she gets to see her dad, Mr. El, every day. When Dorri is at home, she likes to play with her sister, Fanci. Dorri is the daughter of Eldridge and SamiJo McClatchey.

Reminder – Goodfellows applications due Friday, October 25
The Winona Goodfellows Program has been in existence for more than 100 years, providing countless Winona-area children with warm winter clothing and footwear. They currently provide more than 650 vouchers of $40 each year for children in grades preschool through six.
Applications are due Friday, October 25th.

Fall Book Fair
Bluffview Montessori’s Fall Book Fair will be held October 24 – 30. The Library is a wonderful place to witness the beauty of a Montessori education, and students have already been quite busy this year engaging their curiosity through research and reading for pleasure. All fair profits benefit the Library and allow us to continue to be responsive to their needs and requests for more resources. Hope to see you there!

Explorers of the Week
Jaysen Conners is a 2nd grade student of Ms. Molly’s E1B classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of commitment when he swept the lunch room floor for 2 weeks. Jaysen’s favorite work in the classroom is the black strip and he loves Bluffview because he gets compass slips for displaying virtues. When Jaysen is at home, he likes to go to the shop and help the guys. Jaysen is the son of Bryan and Emily Conners.
Cora Wangberg is a 2nd grade student of Ms. Molly’s E1B classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of diligence when she finished her reading group book on time. Cora’s favorite work in the classroom is the measuring work and she loves Bluffview because of the works she can do and that she has no homework. When Cora is at home, she likes to play outside. Cora is the daughter of Aaron and Robyn Wangberg.
