District Advisory Committee open meeting
Interested in student data? How we blend Montessori philosophy with State Standards? Have some general questions about programming that you would like to discuss in an open forum?
On Tuesday, November 12th @ 6:00 in the Band room, I am hosting an open meeting (District Advisory Committee) that is a requirement of the State….the only commitment you would be making is to come to school for about an hour that evening. I will be reporting the attendance of the meeting on a report called the World’s Best Workforce. Notes/suggestions from the group will be shared with the Board of Directors.
I will presenting a brief slide show with anyone that is interested in attending. Content includes MCA scores, Fastbridge screening, and a few other details.
After the slide presentation, there will be plenty of time for open discussion about any aspects of the school. Parent teacher conference feedback, level transition questions, what exactly is ADSIS, etc.
I hope to see some of you there.
Henry

Explorers of the Week
Greta Larson is a 6th grade student of Mrs. Heim’s E2A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of helpfulness when she put equipment away at the end of band. Greta’s favorite class is history and she loves Bluffview because of her friends. When Greta is at home, she likes to read, annoy her brother, rollerblade, and draw. Greta is the daughter of Charles and Rachel Larson.
Samuel O’Grady is an 8th grade student of the Erkinder classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of service when he picked up trash during a hike at Prairie Island. Samuel’s favorite class is math and he loves Bluffview because it is smaller than most schools. When Samuel is at home, he likes to play basketball. Samuel is the son of Scott Jensen & Kate O’Grady.
