Hello Bluffview Families!
The time has come for our annual reading extravaganza! The event will be held at Bluffview on March 28th, from 2:30-4:30.
We are inviting students K-6 to join us for a two-hour reading extravaganza.
- K-3 students will move through different stations; including flashlight reading, a physical activity, a snack, and a read-aloud from a community member.
- E2 students will have the opportunity to practice and share an exciting reader’s theater performance. Snacks will be provided.
Permission slips to participate were sent home in Wednesday folders. You can also find one below.
Leading up to the event, March 1st – 21st, there will be a school-wide reading challenge (a reading log was sent home in green folders and can also be found below). Students can record the number of minutes they read over the course of three weeks. If we hit our goal of 50,000 minutes read collectively, there will be a special surprise!
