The band concert will be May 22 at 5:30 pm in the community room.  Students need to be at Bluffview by 5:15 pm. A school matinee performance will be at 1.

Two of the many Bluffview Montessori Students demonstrating virtuous behavior this week:

Soren Kugel is a Kindergarten student in Mr. Joshua’s CH2 classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of service when he swept the hallway.  Soren’s favorite work in the classroom is maps, and he loves the teachers at Bluffview. Soren’s favorite activities outside of school are playing outside, and he wants to be a firefighter when he grows up.  Soren is the son of Danielle & Jon Kugel.

Rose Knutson is a 6th grade student in Ms. Zahrte’s E2B classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of service when she assisted the substitute teacher during music. Rose’s favorite subject in the classroom is everything but math, and she loves the flexible and peaceful environment at Bluffview. Rose’s favorite activities outside of school are reading and crocheting, and she wants to do something in the health field when she grows up. Rose is the daughter of Brian & Renee Knutson.

Annabele Moyer is a 4th grade student in Mrs. Kaul’s E2A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of responsibility when she followed classroom expectations. Annabele’s favorite subject in the classroom is math, and she loves to play with her friends at Bluffview. Annabele’s favorite activity outside of school is going to her mom’s house, and she wants to be a teacher when she grows up. Annabele is the daughter of Sarah Moyer.

Willow Tomesh is a 5th grade student in Ms. Tori’s E2C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of responsibility when she showed great leadership skills during move up day and always has a good attitude.  Willow’s favorite subject in the classroom is reading, and she loves that she gets to work with kids in a bunch of grades at Bluffview. Willow’s favorite activities outside of school are track and playing with her friends.  Willow is the daughter of Cory & Lauren Tomesh.

Briar McIlrath is a 5th grade student in Ms. Tori’s E2C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of service when she helped set up her classroom after school. Briar’s favorite subject in the classroom is language, and she loves that all the core classes are within one classroom at Bluffview. Briar’s favorite activity outside of school is going outside and riding her bike. Briar is the daughter of Jessica & Phil McIlrath.

Sebastian Esser is a preschool student in Mr. Joshua’s CH1 classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of patience when he paused to say “excuse me” to get past someone.  Sebastian’s favorite work in the classroom is all of them, and he loves that Bluffview has the “biggest playground”. Sebastian’s favorite activities outside of school are to play soccer, eat, and play and he wants to be a spaceshipper when he grows up.  Sebastian is the son of Daniel & Kaitlin Esser.
