Explorers of the Week
Two of the many Bluffview Montessori Students demonstrating virtuous behavior this week:

Ava Rasmussen is a 4th grade student of Ms. Amy’s E2C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtues of determination and diligence when she worked hard on practicing math facts. Ava’s favorite subject in the classroom is science, and she loves Bluffview because of the work she gets to do. Ava’s favorite activity outside of school is playing on the trampoline, and she wants to be a cook when she grows up. Ava is the daughter of Greg & Laura Rasmussen.

Vinny Petersen is a 6th grade student of Mrs. Kaul’s E2A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtues of responsibility and commitment when he worked very hard to finish his follow-ups and his make-up work. Vinny’s favorite subject in the classroom is math and he loves Bluffview because of the teachers. Vinny’s favorite activities outside of school are playing soccer and playing games on his PS4, and he wants to work at Jimmy Jams when he grows up. Vinny is the son of Jacinta and Corey Petersen.

Student Data Privacy
Please see the Law about Student Data Privacy below and click on the link to learn more about the privacy policies of the technology providers used by Bluffview. This is an annual requirement.

STUDENT DATA PRIVACY

MN Statutes 13.32 Subd. 1 – Modifies student data privacy protections by defining a “school-issued device”, and “technology provider”, the requirements on schools to notify parents and students of any programs or contracts with technology providers that deal with student data; the rules that technology providers must follow regarding student data, and what student data government agencies, and service providers cannot access or monitor.

Jacob Kugel is a 1st grade student of Ms. Mariah’s E1C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of determination when he stopped what he was doing to work on forming numbers he struggled with so he could learn them better. Jacob’s favorite subject in the classroom is math, and he loves Bluffview because of the teachers. Jacob’s favorite activity outside of school is playing Pokemon with his brother, and he wants to work for a bank when he grows up. Jacob is the son of Abigail & Brian Kugel.

Emmery Wobschall is a Kindergarten student of Mr. Josh’s CH1 classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of helpfulness when she went back to help a friend leave the playground with their class. Emmery’s favorite work in the classroom is the lid work and she loves Bluffview because she gets to talk to her friends. Emmery’s favorite activity outside of school is playing on her tablet, and she wants to be a teacher when she grows up. Emmery is the daughter of Corbin and Samantha Wobschall.
