Just a reminder the book fair will be at Bluffview until 11/13, and will be open after school Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2-3pm! Reminder- Fall Conferences on 11/13
The remaining fall conferences will be held on Thursday, November 13th.
If you have not yet registered: We use an online scheduling system to arrange these conferences. The link is found at the end of this message and will take you to a web page set up for our conferences. After selecting a conference, you will need to register. Once registered, you will have access to conference times and the ability to sign up for a conference with other teachers, specialists, or interventionists.

Explorers of the Week
Two of the many Bluffview Montessori Students demonstrating virtuous behavior this week:
Tessa is a 3rd grade student in Ms. Amy’s E1A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of responsibility when she cleaned up the environment of trash at recess. When she is not in school, Tessa loves playing video games with her big brother. Tessa likes Bluffview school because there are so many nice people here. Tessa is the daughter of Krista and Andrew Blom.
Zander is a 3rd grade student in Ms. Kiersten’s E1B classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of wisdom when he helped a Children’s House student with labeling nouns around school. Zander’s favorite class is art, and when he is not in school, his favorite thing to do is play with his brother. When he grows up, Zander wants to be an engineer. Zander is the son of Cory and Lauren Clifton.

Explorers of the Week
Two of the many Bluffview Montessori Students demonstrating virtuous behavior this week:
Izzy is a 6th grade student in Ms. Johnson’s E2C classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of responsibility when she helped clean up after library class. Some of Izzy’s favorite hobbies include crocheting and archery, and when she grows up, she wants to be a graphic designer. Her favorite part about Bluffview Montessori School is that it is a really healthy community and there is not as much bullying. Izzy is the daughter of Joel and Jessica Ward.
JR is a 6th grade student in Ms. Zahrte’s classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of leadership when he helped others and stayed focused during work time. JR’s favorite class is math. His favorite hobby outside of school is video games, and he is still trying to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up. JR is the son of Sarah and Patrick Lumsden.

Explorers of the Week

Sophia is a 4th grade student in Ms. Kaul’s E2A classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of stewardship when she fixed a classroom shelf issue and tidied up after a lesson without being asked. Sophia’s favorite class is art, and when she’s not at school, her favorite thing to do is hang out with her family. Sophia wants to be either a doctor or a nurse when she is older. Sophia is the daughter of Shelby Beeman.
Daniel is a 7th grade student in the Erdkinder classroom who was recognized this week for displaying the virtue of service when he cleaned up lettuce that spilled all over the rotunda. Daniel’s favorite subject is Science, and when he is not in school, his favorite thing to do is go outside. Daniel’s favorite part of being at Bluffview is that he is able to walk around during work time and does not have to sit the entire time. Daniel is the son of Jocylyn and Daniel Poehler.
